Great hiking and biking trail, the river is beautiful and there are lots of trees for shade. The waterfalls are great but people should keep it clean, there is a lot of trash on stucked in rocks.

Most of the trails are well maintained. The park is a gem inside the city. Some of the trails could be maintained better and especially the creek crossings (wagon wheel crossing for example)

This is a nice secret in Penesquitos although your GPS might have trouble finding it, well hidden. It.s 1.8 miles walking or biking to the falls from where you park so approximately 4 miles total but great exercise and worth it.

Really like this nature walk after there's been some rain and the creek's got a good amount of water flowing! 🏞️ It's also fun to take some of the smaller trails that branch off of the bigger ones that follow the creek to the waterfall. Great place to bring your kids for an afternoon adventure, just make sure to keep an eye on them at the waterfall cause the rocks can be steep and slippery if your shoes r wet!

Yes. I saw few in the picnic and play ground area about 4 or 5 months ago.
