Great park with a variety of fields and courts. Lots of trees, which come in handy on a hot afternoon.

Great place for a walk, run, picnic, walk the dog etc. Clean bathrooms and concrete tables throughout the park area. Lots and lots of grass areas. Tot lot for little ups. At night the park is lit up with bright lights.

Probably the best park from around San Marcos, Escondido, Poway and anywhere near Rancho Bernardo. It has a little bit of everything, you can play basketball, baseball and it has enough space to play anything from soccer, football, volleyball and you can also go hiking and mountain biking. No other place has all this in one park and believe me I am from Escondido and there's no place in here that has decent basketball courts like this place and if there's is such place it is close because of the pandemic or it's not the best place to hangout. This place is popular with kids playing basketball and it can get pretty busy with people trying to play but you have to put your feet down and let them know that they can't play or shoot in your court until you finish your practice or playing because they start acting like there's no pandemic going on and they try to take over the court if you let them. So if you try to play basketball here you better get there early to get a court. Tuesdays and Thursdays are reserved for the High School kids to do basketball practice from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
