Positive: The hotel was great. The room was well designed and furnished and definitely surpassed my exceptions. I was happily surprised when I opened the door. Negative: The only one thing that I pointed out to the staff of my checkout was the ants coming in from the bathroom window on to the floor and some random strays on the bed. Not a deal breaker for me at all.

Lovely hotel by the river. Is perfect to explore Portland. The room was great. The view is of the marina, but also the bridges spanning the river - so a little noise from there. Some good restaurants nearby. The reason I removed a star for service is because not one member of staff in reception said good morning (or anything) as we walked through - even though we said it to them. So our only interaction was check in and check out - efficient but not uber friendly. The housecleaning crew, however, were lovely.

Beds were comfy, rooms were decorated nicely and they were clean, many charging ports in the room, bathroom had a nice vanity mirror, staff was friendly and helpful. Very welcoming place for your dogs but unfortunately there aren't any marked areas where they can go potty, and no trash cans close to the hotel. Only con in the room was that there wasn't a working fan in the bathroom. Almost everything you would need is provided here, except any sort of fan, I wish box fans were kept in the closet.

We had an AMAZING stay here! Great service and even better food! The restaurant at the hotel serves top notch seafood. There wasn’t one thing we didn’t like. The free coffee and tea bar in the mornings was also a nice touch. A nice bonus is there is no pet fee!
