Oh. My. Goodness!!! Such a beautiful place to stay. All the staff treat you like you are a dear friend. So happy we discovered this gem. Easily one of the most beautiful hotels we've ever stayed at. Also, very important, affordable!

This is an elegant historic hotel in the center of downtown Portland. Gorgeous architecture, great service staff, the incidentals provided in room are of high quality and are thoughtful like the patching kit and the shoe glove. For breakfast, their eggs Benedict is superb. They also recommend their French toast and biscuits and gravy.

Pros: Hotel had a timeless beauty to it that was lovely. All of the people working there were welcoming and accommodating. Cons: Stayed here prior to and the night after surgery to recover and the tempurpedic beds were not comfortable at all, it was rough. There were small parts of the room that weren't entirely clean when we arrived (floor, sink,). Would stay here again but would 100% request a pillow top rather than memory foam mattress.

The Benson is a classic guilded age hotel run under the auspices of Hilton, and it's excellent brand standards. The property is classy in a way that only time and the best materials can achieve. The lobby has towering recessed ceilings adorned with crystal chandeliers, inlaid fireplaces, and plush seating throughout. The rooms are smaller, but also have the classic guilded age touch. Everything was spotless. Staff was very responsive to all needs and extremely helpful. Great location, too. A swanky place for a romantic gate away in the city.

Yes! Unlimited In and Out usage for a flat fee of $49/night
Why? It’s a Buck fitty to light rail it 3 blocks from a stop.
I don’t know but most hotels will. Best to call.
They did for me, if they can accommodate they will
It is pretty easy to contact management to ask.
Nothing associated to the hotel.have to walk to outside venues to relax. Still great hotel at s greasry price...
Directly opposite across the street is a parking garage for 25$ per day. We parked there safely and you do not have to carry your bags too far. Valet parking is more expensive for 40$.
The Benson is probably a 10-15 minute walk from Union Station, or you can board the Trimet Max line for like one stop and then walk a few blocks to the hotel.
