I had such a pleasant visit to this store this time. Marcy was at the return register and she made my stop so easy. She was professional, friendly, helpful and so-so nice! She went above and beyond to make sure to help me with everything needed. Marcy, thank you for being so cheerful, sincere and sweet! I’m excited for my next there and will make sure to always say hello to her.

Horrible customer service at the registers, it was our first time visiting this store, and we decided to buy a crib furniture set. The only kind person was Spencer, the white guy in furniture. We scheduled a time/date to pick up our set. Unfortunately, we had to go to the front to pay upfront with the rude white cashiers and managers (all white women - Karens). When we got there, they didn't find the right furniture I was buying in the register; I asked them that before they ring me up, I wanted to make sure I was getting what I was paying for (crib set/color), so I started asking them questions. They didn't like it, and with an aggressive demeanor, those chicks were telling me that I should wait to receive an email with all that information. As a customer who is spending a significant amount of money, why should I leave the store without answers to my concerns. Those chicks were making ugly faces; look at us down like if what we were purchasing was free. They didn't answer our concerns, all of them were rude. They don't have diversity in there all the employees are white no wonder why those white chicks felt like they rule the world. Si eres latin@ no vayas ahi porque se van a querer sobrepasar la gente blanca que trabaja ahi, y ni te van atender como te lo mereces. As a pregnant woman I should have a good experience in a baby store instead of dealing with rude and aggressive employees who don't care about customers.

We came here to check out some crib sets, rocking chairs, stroller sets and baby clothes. They have a big selection and variety of baby stuff. The staff has always been nice and helpful in my experience.

This place was awful. We scheduled an appointment to get help with our registry a couple of months in advance. We received a confirmation email and calendar invite for it. When we arrived, we were told the person who should have done the consultation didn't show up to work that day. We were told someone would be in the furniture section to go over crib options with us but no one was around. All the staff seemed to be slammed and working the registers. We wanted to talk to a manager at some point because we were really hoping for guidance and advice, as we'd received at a smaller, local baby store that didn't offer cribs or other furniture. But we couldn't even get a minute of any staff member's time. Tired and hungry, we eventually gave up and left. We luckily only had to drive from Oakland, which is a bit far but isn't too awful a drive. Getting to Pleasant Hill is not exactly a quick trip, especially if you don't have a car. This location is fine if you know exactly what you're looking for and they've got it in stock, but at that point why even go to a physical store? I don't recommend this place at all, it's under staffed and poorly run.
