I didn’t catch anything on the Liberty but did have tons of fun. The captain knew where the fish were but they just didn’t bite or my line broke from the heavy fish. The lady making the food was really nice even offered me free fish for not catching any. I will come back in the future.

This would have been my second visit to this place. I usually go with my dad and sister’s family. We usually go on the Dolphin on our fishing trips. The crew on it are really friendly and very helpful with the newbies. The cook below deck is also very nice and friendly, especially with my nephew, who’s probably been on these fishing trips since he was one. I caught quite a few fish on my first trip out. Not so lucky this year. 😅

Excellent place to start your hunt for the illusive blue fin tuna. The store was loaded with good and helpers who guide you in what is needed for your trips from tackle to fishing licenses. We had a great experience with Capt. Peter on the Islander great crew.

Great experience! Staff was helpful and eager to assist when fishing lines were tangled and you caught a fish. They were even able to tell you the type of fish you caught. My only complaint is that smoking was allowed on the boat. I’m sensitive to cigarettes and had no choice but to be exposed to the smoke.

Between 50-500 ft depending on the trip. 1/2 day: 50-200ft. Full day: as deep as 500ft
When he wants to drive the boat. He still owns the boat and the landing.
Parking out front but as mentioned it does fill up but I have always found parking there. As mentioned the hotels that allow parking as well.
There are many but depending on the season there are different types of trips to go on. Their schedule is always posted at fishermanslanding.com. A good thing to check out is the annual day at the Docks basically it is an open house of all of The Landings that are adjacent to one another in Point Loma where you can go on many of the boats and see their sizes and different configurations
You rent rod and reel want to say $30 but then you have to purchase hooks, lures and leaders; about $40. Something like that Majed. Some boats provide all tackle some like this one you bring your own tackle.
