Awesome trip on the Sauerfish!!! So cool. I'm almost afraid to give this review because I dont want people knowing how great this boat is and booking it up. James and his crew are great from the fishing to the cooking, just cant say enough about it. I've NEVER had this level of greatness from a captain and the crew. Just exceptional. Thank you so much. Caught 3 fish, some with crew help, and came home with plenty of fish. Thanks again Sauerfish and I hope there's a spot in June for me.😎😎😎🤘

REVIEW FOR THE MISSION BELLE BOAT - Full Day Trip If you are looking for a hard working captain that searches the ocean for the biggest fish, best customer service from deck hands Philip, and comfortable and clean boat with no more than 26 people...look no further. We trolled the waters south of San Diego and into Mexico and came back with an amazing haul. Can't wait to book another trip soon.

These guys have worked with some wounded warriors and were more than willing to accommodate them with their disabilities and assist them when needed. The staff are cordial during the whole trip and they have the fishermans best interest at heart.

It depend 1/2 dav, 3/4 day, full day boats.call the landing for. Imfor.
One day is $150
On the boat if it's a day trip or it can be processed by a company they use for the bigger tunas & trips .
Off the boat. There are several companies that are available to assist. Best to prebook a company so they're ready for you when your boat arrives back from your trip. Cost varies by company but approx 1.30-1.40/lb average also depends on. Thickness of the vaccuum sealed bags.
I DONT THINK THEY HAVE LOST ANYONE YET.. previous owner was on the boat with walker Fishing he is 89 yrs. We fished this week end. We caught lots of Sand Bass and I have had my 5 yr old out fishing with me as well. as my 12 yr old.. Depends on your comfort level.. and spider senses . of course..
full day around $200+-, overnight $300+-, 1.5 $400+-
I would recommend dressing in layers. Definitely bring a jacket along. You might also bring a back pack with a pair of shorts and a change of clothes. You can keep the back pack on your bunk during the trip, so everything will remain dry. Also, don't forget to bring your face covering, hat and sunscreen. Good luck on your trip.
Hi Christian, Unfortunately the boats do not allow outside alcohol to be brought aboard the vessel. They do have beer for sale in the galley as some of the others have mentioned. Also, they do not allow cooler on the boats.
Hi Felipe, Our shortest trip is a 1/2 day trip, which is 6 hours long. The ticket price for an adult is $52.00. If you need to add a rental rod and fishing license, the total price for everything is $81.20 ($162.40 for two passengers). We offer discounts to senior, active duty military and juniors as well. We also have other trips from 12 hours long to 16 days. If you have any other questions, please feel free to call our office at (619) 223-1627.
Check out 976tuna.com it has all the landings fish count in one spot. Great for a quick check
On overnight trips it can be a little harder to get to sleep because of the suspense and anticipation of fishing the next morning. I always bring a towel and a jacket to rest my head on their provided pillows. Bunks are always prepped before each trip by the crew. As far as going to sleep the early birds might be the only ones in the morning to get the worm, especially if it's just a morning bite. Late risers could possibly miss the best bite of a one day trip.
Day boat
different prices different trips. 50bucks to thousands. different fish all year. October is my favorite time.
Some costs involved are food, fish cleaning & Crew tip 10-20% not based on weather or not your gunny sack is empty or full. If you have your own appropriate gear you could save some cash. $100-$500 depending on your choice of length of trip, 1/2 day to 1 1/2 day trip. Traveling land, Sea and Air is just the cost of doing business to experience some fun during life. Good luck
