Going into getting my first apartment, I was sooo nervous. Didn’t know what I was doing. Called so many places. Never got responses. Finally came across east of eleven. Spoke with Erica. And she helped make the process seem like a breeze! She was very patient with my millions of questions. And now I have a super cozy apartment! Maintenance is also super great. Anytime I’ve put in a request, if it’s not responded to within an hour it’s by end of day with the promise of getting it taken care of before they leave. Overall, I lucked out getting to live here! :)

Ugh I am SO sad to be writing this review and I have gone back and fourth on if I wanted to or not but finally decided to so I could warn others. I was super excited about finding this place, I have been here for 6 months. The apartments are beautiful and I like the location. Unfortunately I have a sour taste in my mouth after a recent incident with the staff and parking garage. I pay extra to park in the underground parking lot, my car was broken into and a ton of stuff was stolen. (My fault for leaving stuff in my car-- but I have been questioned if I am aloud to park there by a parking attendant so I was thinking someone was on staff always watching the lot?? Who knows now) Anyways, the apartment complex was very unhelpful with the entire situation, the camera didn't pick any weird behavior up (two windows were completely broke in and shattered, it was BAD...so I find that odd?) I had to continually ask if they found anything on the footage and they just started ignoring me, they finally ended up saying the camera trigger was broken and it was taking to long to go through all the footage. I had to pay $1000 in deductibles ($500 for the car damage and $500 for renters insurance to replace stolen items) so I asked if they could waive the parking fee for the month as the parking is supposed to keep your belongings safe and watched over rather than just parking on the street. They ignored a couple emails before finally responding saying no. I guess I kind of understand because they aren't liable for that kind of stuff. It was just super upsetting that they were ignoring me, countless times, after my car was broken in to, on their property. Very unprofessional. Overall just a little disappointed in how the staff handled such a bad situation. If you stay here, don't pay the insane parking fees. Not worth it. Also don't expect the staff to help with any mishaps. I have also had packages stolen (caught one guy in the act!) and told the staff and they were just like, OMG that is crazy. Literally that is it. Cute place, nice location, horrible communication skills and lack of compassion for people staying in the apartment.

Management puts themselves before residents at the cost of resident safety. Residents have felt unsafe in their homes and have experienced multiple instances where their safety was in danger or apartment intruded. There was a tragic incident where management failed to respond immediately to the crisis and has taken weeks to take basic security measures. None of the apartments have a deadlock on the doors and they provide access to the building and vacant apartments to anyone interested in living there. While the apartments seem nice with all the amenities you are risking your safety. Finding an apartment is finding a home and this building is anything but, allowing anyone who asks into the building and failing again and again to take the most essential and most basic of security measures.

My wife and I moved into East of Eleven over a year ago and we love it. We have had no issues with sound from neighbors as a few other reviews have claimed. Kylie, in the office, is very nice and responsive to any issues we have had while living here. I would defiantly recommend living here to a friend.
