So far it's been a great place to live. The front desk staff are very helpful. 2 pets allowed. Have not noticed any of the issues mentioned in the 1 star reviews in my time here (~6 months). Note: Make sure you get your packages delivered safely (there's a large lockbox service that can be used and Amazon can deliver to your apartment door). Getting DoorDash deliveries to here will require them to use the call box to get in.

I have been living here for a month and I’m really happy. Everyone in the leasing office is very helpful from the beginning. My apartment is beautiful and everything is kept very clean. I recommend it.

We have loved living here. Management is very kind and respond quickly to maintenance requests. Nikolay in maintenance was very helpful. There are a lot of great amenities.

Overall, we have enjoyed living at the Aston. We’ve had a few unpleasant experiences, but generally less than other apartments. The biggest things to know in advance: - There are a lot of required monthly fees and you will end up paying a few hundred dollars more a month than the advertised price - Be very aware of giving your written notice 60 days before leaving - Other residents don’t clean up after their pets very well even when they have accidents in the hallways (the apartment staff cleans more frequently than other apartments though, but you still go a few days sometimes with urine smell in the elevator) - The internet is crazy fast - Maintenance responds very quickly - Packages get left on the floor of the mailroom often (the mailroom is outside) and could be stolen - Expect rent to go up every year

No, most places don't unless you get a note from your doctor saying they are an emotional support pet.
Too high. The rent itself doesn't sound that bad, but that isn't including all the extra property fees they add in randomly throughout the year. Look elsewhere, there are much better deals.
Both the State Govt and Provo City Govt have programs available. You should check with those agencies. You can probably find information on their websites.
They start at $1400, but be aware that with fees & everything it could end up costing about $1800
According to a friend of mine who lives here the elevator was out for multiple days. They were literally stuck in their apartment. Keep that in mind when you are looking at which unit to rent.
