I would consider other options for student housing. I had the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any apartment complex at the green. They’re great if your parents are paying for all your living expenses. I personally was tired of paying a lot of money for a mediocre place that doesn’t really care about the students living in it. I had to jump through a lot of hoops during my time there and actually had to pay rent and utilities for my roommates after leaving three months earlier than my lease date, which I was fine with because they gave me no other option. The reason being is because they only help certain people sell their leases, not everybody, which can be understandable but I wish they would’ve helped me sell my lease the same way they’ve helped others. The funny part is, they moved my apartment because of my allergies but didn’t change my lease for the new apartment I was in, just raised the price. That’s lazy, specially when it’s an easy fix. I would’ve signed the new lease but they didn’t even try, so there were a lot of complications and complaints on my end. If you’re looking for a nice quiet place to live, that will work with you in certain situations and stick with what they originally say, I would strongly reconsider.

DO NOT LET YOUR SON/DAUGHTER GO HERE!!!! My daughter filled out her paperwork on January 6. She was required to pay the full months rent, but then never received her first week prorate. Then, when she got there, they put her on a list to get her parking pass. Who doesn't provide that when you get an apartment? Meanwhile, her car was towed and she got a ticket. Totally ridiculous. Took us FOREVER to get that taken care of. Meanwhile, there is NO place for her to park her car and she would have to go move her car to keep it from getting ticketed---early mornings and late nights. Not safe. Then, we were finally able to get her contract sold to another person. Still haven't received the prorate or her deposit and they have cut off all contact with us. This place is a joke and management is very unprofessionally done. Had I known it would be so bad, I would've never let my daughter go here. I have a very bad taste in my mouth. I don't usually write bad reviews, as i believe people are really trying to do their best, but this one needed it. If I can keep just one person from making the same mistake we did, it would be worth it.

As a scholar student, you expect your housing apartments to be great, but with the Green I don’t trust them for a moment. I have a friend who lives here at the green, and she doesn’t enjoy it at all! The staff can be unhelpful and dismissive, the rooms are pretty tight, and staff might not care for your allergies. My friend is allergic to dog hair and for some odd reason, they put her into a room with two dogs! She tells me all the time how she can’t stay there. I’ve been by her side each time she contacted The Green, but to no avail. Would not recommend this apartment complex at all.

I honestly hate living here. I work 30 hours usually waking up as early as 6 or 7 in the morning and Tuesday’s and Thursday’s I have 8 am classes clear across campus. I am a morning person however while living here I can never go to sleep before 2 in the morning. Outside my window I’m constantly hearing screaming, loud talking, music, and people hanging out. Above me I’m hearing shuffling, knocking, and what sounds like a stampede??? I’m exhausted. There are many pros to living here though: 1. very close to campus 2. The parking garage (although that has many issues in itself) 3. Internet is fast 4. Pool, gym, hottub, clubhouse, printer 5. Amazon hub 6. Can be a good first apartment for freshman and social people But these are all my cons 1. my apartment is so tiny 2. Private bedrooms with 3 other roommates minimum is 580 with utilities (price just doesn’t match what you get) 3. Noise at night can be bad 4. Noise in the parking garage (people rev their engines, go super fast, and people hangout in it?) 5. Lots of random maintenance 6. Many things break easily like cabinets, sinks, drawers, towel rack, pantry shelves 7. Fire alarms randomly go off 8. Hot water and septic system broke a couple times 9. Has more of a dorm than apartment feel 10. Management isn’t super helpful and a little out of touch 11. You need a car to live here (but that’s mostly anywhere in Orem :/ ) This is just my list and feelings towards the Green Apartments. Many of these reviews are skewed since there was a Google review raffle so I felt like I should try to give an honest review. Overall it’s not a bad place to live especially for freshman, but it’s just not for everyone and definitely not for me.

Questions & Answers

Do you have to be a current student at a local school to apply for this apartment? I'm moving to Utah later this year and plan on doing online classes but I'm not sure if that applies. Thanks!

I dont think you do. I'm taking classes in the fall and I'm moving in there next week. You can give them a call.
