Great place to camp with friends and family. I got to race in the cross country event for keysville classic 2020. I will be back next year. Amazing views of the river and wild life.

BLM called it "Keysville Beach". It is a very nice dispersed campground but I picked a wrong time to be there--labor day weekend--way too crownded, too loud music, too many drunk people but other than that a very nice place to camp, will be back some other time.

Great place for camping. We managed just fine with our class C 30ft and parked it 30ft from the rapids. Nice breeze, cool evening. Love it! My favorite so far on our 8 month travels around the US.

A permit is required! They can be gotten online after taking a 5 minute course. But that is subject to change as it gets dryer. The BLM shuts down open fires pretty quickly in the summer. They post notices at the info boards when that happens.
This area has a very strong current as well as a potential for hypothermia. When we have a good winter its probably one of the most dangerous places to swim!
