I would have given a higher rating, but can't right now! I feel there camp host is on a power kick. I've been told so many different things on the rules But those rules change soon as you start questionings .Well I was told today all he needs to do is say tow the trailer and they will be here to tow my trailer. All I KNOW I haven't caused any problems! I LEAVE here everyday to work and return around 11pm! When I'm not at work I'm walking along the shore and up to the bathrooms picking up trash! Not one time have I saw anyone that represents this company out picking up any of the garbage. Fourth of July weekend there was a lot of trash, I took bags and bags of trash to the dumpster. And I was told I would never be aloud back on this property at least next 5 years and if the company keeps contract beyond that.Sorry that caring about keeping it clean offended you so much that I won't be back! you've. But

Bakersfield's "beach." It literally looks and feels like a beach (I grew up in a beach town). Same beach sand, fire pits and the water even makes small waves. This place is a nice place to dry camp (portapotties "due to Covid") and you can …

Awesome place to camp but yes it does get windy restrooms very clean and are open fresh water to fill your trailer,if you can handle the wind then go for it,wind is nice when it is really hot and not bad for fishing, was just out there for 4 days

Staying here a few days. Love just walking out the van door and stepping on to sand and a few feet to the water.

You had to register by 7 am and I did but barely 2 min till 7 ...wish they would go back to tag fish it was so much more fun
I doubt it
You need to make sure you have a valid California fishing permit. The shell station in town can assist you. The entire lake is fish-able but some spots are extremely shallow. Bring waders (or brave the cold water) if you wanna go deeper!
It's easy, I went last weekend it was $10, they have the drive up booth/machine at the entrance and you pay there.

In the afternoon it gets a windy so it's best to go in the morning
We were there a couple weeks ago. No one came around to collect money and no one was in the toll booth. Dry camping but there was one chemical toilet.
