Really great museum very rare aircraft on display and also Automobiles and trucks. Also they have quiet collections of toys. They have some of the most knowledgeable staff I have ever encountered an aircraft Museum. Lots to see, plan on spending hours.

Fantastic airplane and car museum. Also many other small relics. Very large and can easily take several hours to experience the entire museum. If your in Hood River don't miss this gem.

If you like biplanes and old cars, this is a must see. I go to air museums all over the world. When I walked into WAAAM, I just said “wow”. Spent 4 hours exploring and was still finding treasures. If you like jets, head down to McMinville and visit the Evergreen museum. But personally if I only had time to visit either Evergreen or WAAAM, I would come here. One hour drive from Portland on the interstate, but spend 2 hours and drive the Columbia scenic highway. You won’t be disappointed by the drive or the museum. Special shout out to their many sailplanes, a part of aviation ignored by most air museums.

Today we visited WAAAM for the first time. Despite a brief and fast go through we all were indeed thrilled to see the wonderful collections with well maintained display. Simply Great! Congratulations to all those who shaped this wonderful museum and appreciate all - the Chairman, Committee Members, Volunteers and every contributor. Thanks.

I'm not sure, but if it's not I'm sure they are working on it :)
No reservations needed. Rides on second Saturday of the month. However, it's very unlikely you'll be allowed to drive any of these antiques.
They have a pretty large lot. I wouldn't think that would be a problem.
Yes, its a private Museum. Go on a second Saturday in the month and you'll get to ride in some of the antique cars, see some planes fly and tour the workshops.
The Model Ts that are used have tops on them (either hard top or canvas top). I'd still wear a coat for when you're switching cars though.
Only during special events like the WAAAM Traffic Jam Car Show or the Annual Hood River Fly-In.
I easily spent two hours plus with my family, would have liked to have spent more
We are planning on it.
