The Straightline Orthodontics team had so much fun riding the rail bikes! We picked an amazing morning to take the two and a half hour journey from the train station in downtown Hood River up to the Fruit Company in the valley and back. We had amazing views, shade, sunshine, and laughs! We highly recommend riding the rails if you are looking for something unique and fun to do!

Had the best time today railbiking through the picturesque Hood River Valley! It was such a unique, interesting and super fun way to head up through to the fruit loop area, it was so easy with the e-bike assistance, made for a very relaxing and tranquil trip through the forest. Loved our chocolate blueberries and cherries from the Fruit Company enroute, we are definitely going to book again to do this in a couple of months to see the Fall colors!

It was such a beautiful scenic train ride. I think fall is the best time to be up in the mountains. With all the beautiful different colors. My 15-year-old son. Is it picky teenager and he said he even thought that the train ride was peaceful and he enjoyed it.

The trip was ok. There isn’t that much scenery as there are trees on both sides and limited view of Hood River. Unfortunately you can no longer get off the train to shop. The staff are very friendly and courteous and they get 5 stars. I purchased my tickets online and that process was smooth. I just don’t think it’s worth the price however understand that it’s expensive to keep the train running, and the tracks cleared, pay salaries, and other upkeep and maintenance. The pre-recorded history about the Hood River Valley was excellent. The overall trip was about an hour and a half. First Class Adult $40.00 First Class Adult $40.00 Auto Parking: 1. $7.00 Fees $5.22 Total $92.22 If you want to take photos there is a small platform you can get to near the back of the train.

I tried to cancel many times using voice mail, email, and text. No one responds and today my credit card was charged. You can't get a person to talk to you. Be careful when you purchase.
I love the old time feel of the cars. The Polar Express is a bunch of fun for the family.
What exactly does that mean?
Yes, they are!
Hello. I took my kids on the 7pm polar express train. The inside is festive. They bring out hot chocolate and cookies. The ride is about an hour and a half Santa comes and meets all the kids also the snow queen was on the train. I would recommend a afternoon trip tbh it was dark so we couldn't see anything outside. Hope this helped
No, I don't think so.
Yes, each car has a restromm.
It varies depending on the type of train, the class and the excursion offered. Anything between $30 and $70.
It was between $25 and $65 depending on the car before.
The schedule is online so you can see it. And get tickets. I is a lot of fun. Kids love it an people who like trains
It is and ancer. You would probably make more money if it was wheelchair excusable. I all most came because you have a disable parking place. I called to make sure. Thank you for your ancer. My kid is in a chair. I am just glad you explain it to me thank you
I'm not sure. But I know they still do The Westerns.
Hard depart is at 11. They wont leave anyone behind whose checked in.
During the week the train line is hauling lumber and goods. The passenger train is only available on the weekends.
Expensive. It's like 55-75 a person depending on which class you are in. Not worth it.
They serve food if you buy the package deal. Their food is awesome. But you can bring your own lunch and snacks.
There's a possibility if it's a service animal but to be safe I would recommend calling them their wonderful group of people
