On July 8, 2022, I had an appointment for a tour at 1:00 pm with Hampton Point staff, Ken.  I was there at the front door at 12:58, two minutes early. The front main door was locked, peep my head in the windows and did not see anyone in the office. I knocked pretty hard and no one. I stayed until 1:20 pm and left out of frustration. In additon, the sign on the door said "open", there was no other signs stating their return. I also tried to call the office; however, no answer. I heard the customer service was horrible, but I think it's only one bad apple there, Ken. I say that because when I called back an hour later for an explanation, the female staff was apologetic about what happen and offered me a tour right away. I declined the tour due to the fact if the staff can't keep a simple appointment; then how are they going to handle any complaints such as maintenance, billing, and noise issues.  It's sad because the main number for Eagle Rock corporation customer sevice is great. Too bad most of my questions can only be answered by the onsite Hampton Point staff.

After 3 years of living in this apartment complex, I definitely feel like I a qualified to leave a genuine, honest, very real review. If you are thinking about living here - please read this!! There won't be any bias, just facts from real experiences. CONS: -The management team at this apartment complex is, there is not other way to put this nicely, useless. If you are a current resident calling the leasing office, you will not be able to get in touch with anyone in real time. Only leave messages that are never returned or have the line cut off after going around in circles. - Noise from the upstairs neighbor was at times, unbearable. I literally hear EVERY STEP that they take. Incredibly loud, very squeaky, extremely distracting. It woke me up every single morning - and when their dog would run around, felt like an earthquake in my apartment. I don't think the person who lived above me was the nicest most courteous person, however, the poor structure of the building was not their fault. They have a right to walk freely around their apartment and unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done. Maybe some people aren't as bothered by this, but it really affected me a lot and is probably one of the main reasons I decided to leave. - I cared less for the amenities, but if you are looking for some that you are able to use this won't be the place for you. - Hot water during showers will last MAYBE five minutes before its cold. Despite several maintenance people coming to take a look - this never got resolved. - CONSTANT construction and eyesores PROS: - Despite what I've read from other reviews, maintenance has always been quick to respond to my tickets (either the same or next day) - Always parking. Yes sometimes you may have to walk a little bit to your unit, but I have never not found close by parking. they also provide a free pass for guests. - Bugs are a normal thing that come with apartments, but I have never had any sort of roach or mice problem in my unit. All in all, I would never live here again or recommend living here to anyone. Though there are some pros, in my opinion, the cons, unfortunately, outweigh them. Better management would truly be a game changer for this apartment community.

I only gave 4 stars because my experience with the first leasing agent was not pleasant. Once I started being helped by D'Mia it was a whole new experience! I was moving my college student from out of state and it was what I thought, a complicated task. D'Mia was so friendly and kept this now empty nester assured through the whole process. My sons apartment is the smallest they offer but still has the cozy fireplace and breakfast bar that is perfect for his bar stools. They balcony storage space is ideal for all that junk he took with him. The access to route 200 is fantastic! College Park is a hop, skip and jump away! Thank you Hampton Point and D'Mia!

My lease agreement is up. i have been sending them emails and no one responds and helps me with a lease renewal. They NEVER sent me the advance notice for rent increase after the lease expires. I told them I never received it. The manager said they will review and follow up with me which they NEVER got back to me! Now my rent price increases. The pool has never opened this past summer--wasted my rent money. I strongly recommend the future residents NOT to rent this apartment.
