My initial review was removed. My first experience I had to reschedule my EMG/nerve study with Dr. Friedman because I was exactly 2 minutes past my appointment time although there was a person in front of me checking in and I had to wait for my caregiver to get my walker out of the car. I live in Happy Valley and have Ehlers-Danlos and POTS where riding in the car is a trigger for me so this was a difficult experience. With this being said, one of the women that work at the front desk is probably in the top 5 sweetest, relatable and kind people I’ve met in the many healthcare clinics I’ve had to go to. She’s checked in with me and made sure to call as a courtesy in between appointments which has been a very pleasant surprise and change of pace. In addition to this Dr. Panduranga has been suggested to me by many of my other EDS/POTS friends as a local neurologist as there are quite literally no others in the area who deal with either and 1-2 other well-learned doctors in the PNW. I was stunned at the amount of knowledge and familiarity he had with both conditions and the comorbidities that came with them. Jaw dropping-ly stunned. Finding a neurologist like this is like finding a piece of glitter in a haystack. A few days before I saw both my geneticist, who had extreme concerns for craniocervical instability and neuropathies, as well as an associate professor of neurology at OHSU south waterfront who said these things were both not possible based on my imaging and that if I had neuropathy, there was no treatment so it was likely not important to know. Dr. Panduranga brought up CCI without me mentioning it, saying it would require different imaging I hadn’t had yet with specific measurements, and wanting to order a punch biopsy for small fiber neuropathy, because there are treatments and because there can be more serious conditions that cause neuropathy that also have treatment where it’s good to rule them out. He also ordered labs that my autonomic specialist in Washington hadn’t. Overall it was one of the few appointments, especially regarding neurology, where I felt listened to and like a human being with real physical issues. Highly recommend him as a provider if you have more rare conditions or are looking for someone to treat you like a person

I have had to call the office several times due to symptoms with medication changes. I called during their normal business hours and the response time was very slow both times.

This clinic makes appointments for conditions they do not treat. Please avoid coming here

No. Whether you get any financial assistance depends on your insurance.
Hello and good evening, From my experiences, I would have a MRI done regardless of how you are feeling as the results are definitive and concrete. The neurology assistant will order a MRI for a patient but only if it is recommended by the doctor. MRIs are some of the best testing available for us to know how the body is doing.....I hope this helps
