Well what can I say about Kaiser - Sunset medical center!! Well having come from Moda Health Care, Kaiser is a breath of fresh air and it saddens me that people leave such horrible reviews about their experiences whilst visiting this facility. I have been under care of Kaiser - Sunset medical centre (Dr.Van Der Wal) for years and I have found everyone I have came into contact with extremely helpful, courteous and have never been anything but professional to me and my family. Don't get me wrong not all Health Care providers are perfect but it's how they deal with those problems that make a difference, you treat people with respect you will receive it in return. The facility is a nice building, it has a cafe, shop and is very clean and well maintained, the check-in process is painless and the staff are polite and my Doctor (Dr.Van Der Wal) is the best Dr I have ever had, may I add, she is kind, caring and passionate about what she does, so couldn't be happier with my care. If people have horrible experiences then the relevant people at Kaiser should be informed so they can address it...if they don't know then they can't sort it out instead of basing their views and experience on certain individuals, which is not a fair assessment on Kaiser or sunset medical center. Their is however room for improvement with certain policies and procedures, like having a drop of box for samples instead of waiting in line to hand it in and certain provisions should be in place for follow up appointments so people who have been before don't have to go through the normal appointment system again for appointments for the next stage of your treatment. But having said that Kaiser has an awesome online patients portal, which not only shows you results, what was discussed in your appointment and recommendations from your visit but you can also order prescriptions, book and see appointments, and send messages through email to your Dr so although not perfect in some cases for everyone, this is definitely a big improvement from some health care providers and facilities I've have visited in the past. I would certainly recommend Kaiser and Sunset medical center to anyone, without hesitation.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM KAISER. By far the worst medical care providers around. All they want is your money and provide no actual help. Man if I could give Kaiser 0 stars I would. I’ve been lied to by multiple representatives at Kaiser. They don’t accommodate members who pay high premiums for any type of service. All me and my employees get from Kaiser is appointments that can only be made months in advance, waiting in an emergency room for more than six hours for anything and not being able to get Covid test because their system won’t allow it. The customer service is horrible as well we left multiple complaints and nothing has changed. If you want zero to no care then Kaiser is the spot for you. I mean you would think a Medical provider would have more than 3 stars and better reviews but not Kaiser. Go look up every facility you can on google and not one will have more than 4 stars. That really says something about the company, maybe they are not as good as the say they are.

My husband and I are past 80 years old and have had Kaiser over 15 years with our primary doctor Anna Peter. I contribute her excellent care to still having my husband although he has been close to death several times. Now I had my first scare with Palpitations and Kaiser was there again 100% and the after care with Dr. Peter has made me feel whole again. My husband and I are both grateful.

Front staff were very friendly and were able to get My daughter in with not too much of a wait. Wendy Umana was amazing with my daughter! She barely cried when giving her shots! She was super friendly and made my daughter feel at ease! Definately knows what she is doing! I look forward to working with her and everyone here! Amazing experience.
