I have visited so many apartments in the downtown area and I must say that The Aria just had a different vibe! When you first walk into the building it’s just absolutely gorgeous. The apartments are a bit small but it’s downtown. I’m not looking to move until June but The Aria is in my top 3 places to consider. Jameina and Yaneli are so nice and helpful! I wasn’t sure about the area but they gave me a list of places eat, lounge and relax. These ladies have something going. Check out The Aria!

If a peaceful, uninterrupted night of sleep is important to you, the Aria is NOT where you want to live. This building is located in a noisy area with loud trains passing by all day and night and street noise from cars racing down the street without mufflers. On top of that, this building has poor soundproofing. Aria told us there was 24” of concrete between each floor but I’m skeptical. We are friends with a number of people in the building and 100% of them had issues with noise and getting woken up. Walls are thin and the building is designed poorly. For a “luxury” apartment charging a premium price, we expected better construction. What is disappointing is that when you bring up this issue, Aria tends to act like you're the only one with this issue-- when you know multiple neighbors have brought it up too. And, sometimes people don't bother bringing it up because in order to really fix the problem, they'd have to tear down the building and construct it from scratch. How else would you fix thin walls and weird routes for plumbing pipes? Every single night in the months I lived here, I got woken up by one noise or another. The impact to health and ability to focus at work are irrevocable. Speaking of health, trains carrying uncovered coal are running by all the time. There’s a layer of black dust on our patio and a ring of black dust around air vents. It can’t be good to breathe that in all the time. This area is also not very safe-- with vandalism, petty theft, and attempted break-ins. The apartments are beautiful, though kitchen appliances are laughably low-end. The staff is pleasant and responsive, though they are prone to making accounting mistakes that you get charged for. The common areas are really nice. Basically, we lived in a home with a gorgeous facade but cheaply built under the surface. This review is purely here to help prospective tenants know what they might be getting into.

I typically don’t write any reviews but with the stellar experience I’ve been having, it would be a shame not to share. I’ve lived in A+ apartments but the management teams were all in the D’s. I had to relocate for work which was stressful by itself. Jameina made sure that moving into my new place should be the last thing I should worry about. This has been the most pleasant and easiest moving-in experience I’ve ever had. From the logistics around a complicated move-in from out of state, to questions about amenities, the entire leasing office, especially Jameina, AJ, and Yaneli have been extraordinarily accommodating, helpful, and responsive. The place is extremely well kept, maintenance is prompt, and I love the amenities (gym, decked out courtyard, community lounge, etc.) Living here so far has been delightful and full of great bonuses like a parking garage under the building, a safe mail delivery system which eliminates potential risk to package theft, laundry, internet, AC/Heat all ready to instantly use in each apartment. Overall, Jameina and the team go above and beyond to help when needed. I do not regret my decision to stay here.

I’ve been living at Aria for about seven months now and continue to be pleased with the overall experience and specifically the professional staff, nicely appointed apartment, community of friendly neighbors, and for me the location at the Washington/Oregon state line. Sure there have been a couple of maintenance related items as you’d expect with any new construction complex, but everything has been resolved super quickly and always with a smile. One of my favorite aspects of the community is the shared indoor/outdoor community space packed w modern tech, a spacious kitchen area, pool table, throwback games, and my favorite is the fire-pit. The a/c is a wall mount and isn’t my fav, although I factored this into my decision to move here. Right now I’d give the property four stars only because I’m a hard grader, and look forward to the next 5 months and beyond so long as they don’t get greedy and drastically increase my rent lol.
