Is there a unit called neo-natal for new born babies? And after I graduate high school, could I come here for more learning about my career and then get hired? That’s what I heard

All hospitals have new born wards....per Dept of health rules of operation. The problem is Albany med is really bad for good people with a heart to work in. If you’re kind hearted, and want to provide good care to people don’t go there, they’ll eat you and chew you out. St. Peter’s is the best around these parts, treat you really well. St Pete’s has great options for work too, called tracks, for instance a weekend track commitment have you work all weekend, I believe it’s 2 twelve hour shift and that’s considered full time, and get great benefits. Albany med will try to offer you $10.00 to start, and you’re not considered full time, so no benefits and no help with paying for school if you wanted to continue your education so you can advance your career, even when they want to be as flexible as possible on any shift you decide to work. Stay away from that place, from top to bottom bad. They should decide to either be a HOSPITAL OR SCHOOL NOT BOTH!!! Lousy environment all around.

Yes there is a large neo natal unit (NICU) at Albany Med. AMC is great place to work at and to learn. You should apply via AMC website.
