Made a mistake and took my daughter there for consultation. Dr Sima talked to me for total of 15 minutes. No test, procedure or prescription yet I was sent a bill of 653.00 dollars. My insurance only paid $256. I called and asked for breakdown of the bill and was told that doctor saw us for over an hour which is false. So I am making it a personal responsibility to never pay this bill. Go ahead and ruin my credit score. Worst experience ever. Will never go there and will not advice anyone to go. Acct 16932060 in case Albany med gives 2 $hit to make things right.

This review is strictly of the patient engagement number for scheduling new patient appointments for others so they are aware they are calling the correct place. There is no introduction at all, it simply picks up and plays classical music on and on and on and so you have no idea whether you're calling the right place. This is extremely unprofessional, there should be some sort of introduction or automated greeting advising the caller of the department they are calling. Hopefully the provider offices are better.

It began a great experience. My daughter had a great team in the OR. However, once she went to her room is where it fell apart. It was about 9:15pm and housekeeping came in to clean. I just fell asleep. It was a long day. I asked if she was getting a roommate the nurse said no. Housekeeping turned the lights on and was on her phone talking while she was cleaning the room. Then left the room and left the lights on. I don't believe she seen me in the room with her. Clearly no compassion for patients getting rest.

Sitting in ER at 0345 so going on 5 hours waiting here for father to be seen in emergency dept. There is nobody else in the E.R. practically empty. Father needed to be seen after becoming ill following a procedure at the same hospital earlier in the day. Some better communication would make the wait tolerable as he is not feeling well and therefore becoming more irritable. He is 82 so come on folks, I expect better from the region's largest hospital.

All hospitals have new born wards....per Dept of health rules of operation. The problem is Albany med is really bad for good people with a heart to work in. If you’re kind hearted, and want to provide good care to people don’t go there, they’ll eat you and chew you out. St. Peter’s is the best around these parts, treat you really well. St Pete’s has great options for work too, called tracks, for instance a weekend track commitment have you work all weekend, I believe it’s 2 twelve hour shift and that’s considered full time, and get great benefits. Albany med will try to offer you $10.00 to start, and you’re not considered full time, so no benefits and no help with paying for school if you wanted to continue your education so you can advance your career, even when they want to be as flexible as possible on any shift you decide to work. Stay away from that place, from top to bottom bad. They should decide to either be a HOSPITAL OR SCHOOL NOT BOTH!!! Lousy environment all around.
Ok so the numbers are the floor levels.so if u were looking for say example building D5 East it would be the D bldg,5gh floor east side

Alcohol detoxing is life-threatening and all hospitals will treat someone detoxing from alcohol in the short-term, it can be a medical emergency and must be treated as so.
