This are no campgrounds specifically at Castle Rock. There is a river access only campground by kyak or canoe south of Castle Rock. You may need a permit to for it's use. Check at the local IL DNR Office in Ogle County - west side entrance off Rt. 2.(ie. west of boat launch). Otherwise there's public campgrounds at Lowden State Park where the Black Hawk Statue is located north of the Oregon Dam on River Road. There's more campgrounds as well in the region as well but not on the river. Enjoy your time here no matter where you camp :)

Primitive, accessible only by boat or canoe. https://www.dnr.illinois.gov/Parks/Camp/Pages/CastleRock.aspx

As far as I know the only camping area is accessible by a boat. I hike the trails in this park all the time.
