I'm new to Albuquerque and have never seen the petroglyphs. Are dogs allowed to walk the trails as well? Would this be an appropriate activity to do with a medium sized dog? I read someone said something about climbing up steep cliffs.

I'm not entirely sure. I'd check their website. I saw three dogs while we were there in Oct 18' and they didn't appear to be service dogs; but there's always the chance that they were. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help. Check out Meow Wolf. It's worth the shortish drive to Santa Fe. Get there early though. :)

Dogs are not allowed and you would not want to bring it if they were. I ended up having to carry my service dog most of the way.
