Dog friendly and great views. Interesting to see the terrain and plants change with the altitude. Plenty of benches to rest if you want to stop.

AWESOME π― Place to go Hiking... Just beautiful!! I love the trail and elevation. Can get crowded sometimes but still a good place to go hiking.

I really love this trail as with all trails but this one I have seen the most wildlife if you are not equipped to handle wildlife I would definitely not recommend this for you but if you like adventure and wildlife definitely would see this trail make sure you bring mace or bear spray there are big cats they're all so rattlesnakes and many other type of snakes if you bring small children just keep a close eye on them.

Beautiful place to hike, bike, walk the dogs and enjoy family and friends. There are perfectly spacious picnic and barbecue pavilions. LNT principles apply here in this pristine National Forest.

You get caught, you get a 5000 fine and 10,000 if your with a group. I think the 365 is partially open. Pino trail is open til you get to the point where one enters the Forrest. Be careful
Not yet, but the adjoining Cibola National Forest is closed as of today, May 19, 2022
Depending on the source of information, one-way distance to the crest is between 4.5-4.7 miles. It seems long, but it's a gradual incline so it goes by well. I sumitted on 3-7-20, in 2 hours 50 minutes, with a 3 hour return trip.
