Simply horrible! They were hard to get on phone. Took a deposit to order glass. Then disappeared. Phone was disconnected. Ultimately you should never ever use this branch of the company

They showed up on time and worked very clean and made sure everything was covered. Very professional company from start to finish.

It took 5 months to get the glass in my sliding glass door replaced. First they order the wrong size glass. Then they charged me extra for muntin bars that I already had. They never returned phone calls. They always had excuses. I would not recommend.

I had a hard time getting through to speak to someone phone rang rang and rang. When I left a message no one called me back . And then days later when I called I got a woman on the phone that sounded like she was driving in her car and had a no idea what I was asking about a replacement glass for a casement window. And she assured me someone would call me back and no one ever did . I'll never call them again . No stars

For auto glass, we have the best guarantee in the nation upon installing a new windshield. If you choose our Windshield Protection Plan, you’ll have coverage for a full 12 months. Should you get a rock chip in your new windshield, Glass Doctor will repair it at no cost to you. Our Windshield Protection Plan covers all rock chips received in the first 12 months — no limit. Should you receive damage that is not repairable such as a long crack or significant damage in the driver’s view area, we will replace the windshield at no cost to you for the glass material. Depending upon the type of coverage you purchase at the time of original install, you may be responsible for the cost of labor, adhesive, and moldings.

Can you cut tempered glass?

Glass Doctor - Owner | May 20, 2022

Unfortunately, tempered safety glass, by design, cannot be cut. It is designed to break into small pieces when cut or broken to reduce the risk of significant injuries to the person breaking it. Using safety glass, of which “tempered” is one type, is mandated by state building codes in specific applications like doors, sidelights, showers, etc. Please call Glass Doctor if you want more information on this topic.

Do you replace sliding door rollers?

Glass Doctor - Owner | May 20, 2022

Yes! We do replace rollers if needed. Of course, we try to clean the tracks and rollers and adjust first. If that does not work, we will discuss replacing the rollers for you.

Can you buff scratches out of glass?

Glass Doctor - Owner | May 20, 2022
Glass Doctor - Owner | May 20, 2022

Scratch removal in residential glass and light commercial applications is not a commercially viable solution. Basically, it is labor-intensive and not very successful. Furthermore, if the customer is not satisfied with the result, they are understandably not willing to pay for the time and materials invested by the glass company. Scratch removal and scratch buffing systems exist; however, they are typically only practical in warehouses, industrial, and on larger commercial glass projects. Please call our Glass Doctor office if you would like a more detailed explanation.

Only the bottom section of my window is broken. Do you have to change the entire sash, or can you just change the glass in my frame?

Glass Doctor - Owner | May 20, 2022

We specialize in glass replacement. We can, in most cases, remove the glass from the frame and install new glass. Your existing window sash will remain.
