The park is broken up into different areas around town, many miles apart. Once you get to an area there's plenty of walking or hiking depending on the area to get to see the Petroglyphs. Go to the visitor center first and they will let you know what area is more strenuous or available to handicappable.
Go to the visitors center first, and talk to the rangers. Each trailhead is a few minutes for the others by car. They have easy access and ample parking. Pack lots of water and if interested a couple sites had picnic tables: pack in, pack out. The hikes vary in difficulty and terrain: some are Rocky and others are more sand. Wear good shoes and have fun.
Allways check with the visitor center.
More than one walk available
The Visitor's Center has park maps which guide you to each of the hiking and viewing areas. Some of the hikes are strenuous while others are mere steps from the parking area. There are some that could take all day, whereas the Macaw trail takes about 15 minutes total. The park rangers are great with helping visitors to sort out which hikes will work best for them - I'd recommend starting there.
All the above answers are correct. Plenty of parking, check in with visitor center, bring plenty of water, and enjoy the Petroglyphs. Pack in pack out.
