Uncle Runts was on the other side of 44. It has been closed for years now, and looks like the building is falling apart. JJ'S is small but worthy of customer support. At times the service is slow due to the crowds. Other times only two or three tables are taken. Just be glad we have something up there. It's very difficult to make a go of things in these remote areas, but that's s why some folks choose to live there. If you want an Applebee's, Dairy Queen, and In,n,Out, move to Redding!
Uncle Runts was up there but a different building. It's closed. Was for sale for awhile but no takers. Too bad cuz that was a real good place to get a burger and fries!
