Oh yes! I felt like I was in an upscale mall in the new shopping catwalk. Had no desire to go in those stores.
I completely agree..the catwalk reflected the "lodge" atmosphere of the entire resort..the shops were quaint and cozy..they now seem way too glitzy and actually garish ...was broken hearted to see the change
The lodgings/buildings definitely needed an update/a refresh if you will and some areas weren't touched and could use an update. The entrance is disjointed, I agree.
I havent seen it before the renovations so I can't compare and they were still renovating when I visited but I don't like the disjointed facade design of the buildings.
