Staff was absolutely excellent and the on site restaurants and coffee shop are totally worth checking out. Grounds are well kept: I saw someone pressure washing some stone walls and I appreciate this attention to detail. Rooms had lots of less than perfect paint and in room furniture is pretty beat up, but that's okay since they're starting their room renovation project this summer, so anyone reading this will probably end up staying in a newly renovated room. The fact that the new owners/management recognized a room renovation was needed shows that they're paying attention. The room I was staying in had a button on the nightstand that turns on the hallway "do not disturb" light for my room, so I felt like I was living the high class life and I hope this feature stays.

The location was amazing. We rented the electric bikes and did more than 29 miles through the property and the adjacent highway. Hiking here was fantastic too! Right on the property. The concierge helped us book our white water rafting experience which was the most thrilling adventure I’ve ever experienced. If you come to Alaska you must stay here. Everything is worth it! Only trouble is getting here, you really need a rental car but we managed without one since it was so hard to get a hold of. We got picked up and dropped off for the rafting which was great.

Such a great time skiing here. Didn’t stay at the resort but stayed close by and got lift tickets each day so we made it up to the restaurants on the tram, definitely do that on a clear day we had so much fun. I appreciated the green slopes, they were just the right mix of easy but intimidating. Best skiing I’ve done so far, I hope to be back next year!

I was raised in Alaska and have experienced staying at Alyeska resort plenty of times since childhood. This weekend was my first time (as an adult) paying to stay at the resort I was disappointed at the state of the room. Furniture and interior have been the same since the 90s or even later. The desk chair in our room had so many stains and the sitting chair felt dirty (like it needed to be steam cleaned or thrown away really) The other furniture had so many scratches. The phone looked like it hadn’t been dusted in a while. The wallpaper and lamps are a very unfortunate cream color that has probably been there since the beginning of time. If they allowed smoking in these rooms I’m sure it would look and smell like it was straight from the 70s. The bathroom was clean at least. Staff was nice and for the most part accommodating. Pool was clean and relaxing. I didn’t get much sleep though because I wasn’t able to change the temperature in the room so I was hot and extremely uncomfortable the whole night. It needs some TLC for sure especially for the price you’re paying.

You should confirm current prices on line. At times room reservations comew/ lift tickets. Equipment rental will be seperate.
You could have sent them back and I'm sure that they would have been cooked too your liking.
Alaska is a dog friendly State! Naturally, the alyeska resort will be also!

Hey Donna, Yes, our hotel will be open during that time. Calling our reservation team at 907.754.2111 is recommended and they will be able to help you out finding the best available rate. Thanks!
Yes, many locals fish nearby at Bird Creek. Type of fish depends on time of year. Currently reds, chumm and pinks are running
I do not think they allow pets, unfortunately.
It's free to walk up, but they're is no dedicated tubing hill.
