Yes u do! I got a warning a few years back from the park rangers for not having a fishing license... But I think a new law was just passed this year where we don't got to have fishing license in Ohio! you can call I believe it's wildlife and ask

As stated above yes it is required. Any private property you have permission to fish you don't have to have a license but public waters you do.
