So relaxing! My family loves walking here daily, especially my dog! The kids kove the water park! So refreshing before work!

The area is very nice. Great walking and biking paths. A person can cool off at the splash park. The bathrooms near the splash park aren't very accommodating but could be a whole lot worse.

It was a beautiful day for the event. There is a splash park for the kids. A nice walking trail and shelter houses for picnics.

Very beautiful park. My boyfriend and I go to have peace and just walk together it's a great place to cookout and have events like birthdays and stuff and the water park is very nice and safe my grandson loves the water park. Its definitely way nicer since they took Parkside out. They hold music festivals and all kinds of stuff you can look it up and see what they have going on and when and it's free fun.

Can I reserve a specific area for a baby shower? I'd like to reserve the ramada that is between the playgrounds so my guests that have kids, can easily watch their children from where the party will be. If I can make a reservation, how?

Yes, you can reserve the shelters. However, the last couple of times I went to a Island park the playground was closed for maintenance. They may possibly open it back up soon. I would check the website!

Yes. They also have grills and shelters. You must make reservations for the shelters.
