Beautiful park πΌ for both kids π¦ and adults! Captivating gardens πΌπΈπΉπ΅π·π₯πΊ and fun activities for toddlers. Please anticipate between 2-3 hours β°οΈ to explore. Take snacks π«πͺ with you for multiple breaks. The hiking trails π are short but there is too much to see and enjoy. Unplug π and recharge β‘οΈ.

Loved showing my son around this place. Beautiful surprises around every corner. They have a whole area for children with sandboxes, water play area, & musical instruments.

There is so much to see at Wegerzyn Gardens, plan to spend a couple hours here. We went in early July when the plant and animal life were just thriving. It was one of the most beautiful places. There are also TONS of bees so be careful if β¦

Beautiful to visit even in the fall. Great place to take children. The discovery park has musical instruments, a sand garden, a waterfall in the summer and much more. Plan to spend 2 or more hours to really enjoy the park. Places to picnic at too.

Yes it would be good for running and walking there are not a lot of people and there are a few different trails and a lot of it is shaded so eben on hot days you can take a break in the shade
Yes. I don't think a license is needed at any of the 5 River Metro parks that have fishing (Weygerzyn, Possum Creek).
Yes you can, but I would reserve the area first, for your special occasion.
Yes.
Nope! Totally free like the other MetroParks in the area!
I've heard they do, but I've never used it or been to a rent-out event there myself. Call up Wegerzyn Garden's management and they'll be able to give you a more definitive answer.
This park is at its best during the spring and summer. There is a children's garden and other planted areas. There are walking paths through the wooded areas and another walking/bike path along the river that is fairly busy.
Hello, Pegge! Thanks for your question, I'll work on providing better info on the main Google page for folks like you who are interested in taking a handicap loved one there. These gardens are an excellent place to go for a peaceful getaway and enjoy God's Creation. Here is a link to the Google maps Walkthrough 360 imaging that you might find helpful. It's just like streetview but for foot paths. https://maps.app.goo.gl/D2GK21H8GVnZAAiP6 Also I will be uploading a new aerial map with color sketch of the paths and where to expect steps or how you can avoid them. Hope this helps! π
Couple feet if it rains.
Not to my knowledge
I love this park and you can walk around to take the kids to enjoy the Nature of different things and have fun and enjoy having a good picnic with your family and friends.
It's a metro park. Check with the Ohio State park rules.
If going onlne is too hard for you, Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops will walk you through it.
It's the cutest park ever!! 1301 E. Siebenthaler Ave. Gorgeous flowers and tons of fun. You gotta check it out now!! Its Beautiful!
Maybe the 5 rivers metro park
Yes but they need to be on a lead. They do supply clean up bags too. My dog loves to walk there. Enjoy!
