Best to go to raccoon park site for specific answers. There is a public tent site which I find nasty. During summer times it is like the inner city scramble filled with noise and people. Maybe now in Oct it is not so packed. The lake is down the hill but not sure if walking to it is safe. I prefer the group camp sites across the road and NOT near the lake. Not sure of cost anymore given children are grown and gone on their path of life
You can have dogs on the trail on a leash. Also, since it's off season, you can have them on the beach. Just not in the water.
Dogs/pets are permitted on loops C and F for camping. But I think only E and F are open after labor day through mid October.
They also operate on an honor system. You can drop your payment in an afterhours payment site at the park office on route 18.
It's relatively inexpensive and there are certain areas of the camp that you are allowed to have pets. If you stop at the office they will give you a map which shows you which sites are allowed to have dogs
They do have camping. Both tents and cabins. I've never personally called there before but i walk the trails all the time. The lane is a nice size and there are paddle boats, fishing and a beach. Not sure about pets. I don't recall seeing any dogs when I'm there.
Hi i don't have anything to do with the park i was there once took pics. There is a nice lake there and trails to walk. Not sure if they have camping.
