The trails here are amazing there are boat rentals and camping. If I'm ever back in the area I will explore more

We were in Cabin 5. Accomodations were good, and the land and trails around the area were very nice and maintained. Beach was a little dirty but not too bad. The one thing you should know is that this park is directly in the landing flight path for Pittsburgh International Airport. Large planes all day and into the night flying over. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this isn't the place. Otherwise, a beautiful PA park for you to visit!

Fantastic place to swim, hike and enjoy nature! It would be such a value add if they would build a little restaurant by the swimming beach and keep the bathrooms clean. This is a real gem in the Pittsburgh area

Excellent spot to bring your own kayak or rent theirs. Very affordable prices and helpful staff. Ample parking. The indoor restrooms are basic but have what you need. They are open until dusk too, giving a nice chunk of day to be out on the water. Can't wait to go back!!!

Yes, and you can catch more than bluegills if you know what you are doing.
Yes! Firewood is available for purchase at the boat rental. When it closes for the season you may purchase it at the park office. There are also many local places to purchase it outside the park.
Not that I'm aware of..
Yes, bait is available at the boat rental
Best to go to raccoon park site for specific answers. There is a public tent site which I find nasty. During summer times it is like the inner city scramble filled with noise and people. Maybe now in Oct it is not so packed. The lake is down the hill but not sure if walking to it is safe. I prefer the group camp sites across the road and NOT near the lake. Not sure of cost anymore given children are grown and gone on their path of life
Yes, at least as of 7-4-2020. I was there twice over the weekend.
