One of my favorite Ohio State Parks! This park has something for everyone. There is a great campground nearby. Cabins to stay in. Equestrian camp. Hiking trails. Mountain bike trails. Marina. Beach. The park is well maintained. While I was there they picked up trash a few times. I am taking one star off because the beach could use more than ONE restroom! The beach is very nice. Could use some tlc for sure. But there was ALWAYS a line for the restroom. At least they were new and clean restrooms to use!

The park was spacious, and clean. Plenty of areas to grill out on a good day. And no need to bring the grill with you. There’s also the Cabins for reasonable prices.

A beautiful place to hike! The babbling brook sings a melodic song! That tickles the ear and helps ya escape into God’s creation! Lots of deer too! Eagles ridge I believe great short trail! Decently tough terrain I’ll post more pics next time.

They don't allow hens.
Yes they do rent kayaks and canoes to be used on the lake only I was told. That was August 3rd 2018.
I don't think they really have a certain date. I have swam there after labor day, but it just goes according to weather
