Absolutely beautiful. Little gift shop, ice cream store, clean rest rooms. The steps down to falls are steep and not for someone with problems walking up and/or down stairs. We only went halfway this time but grandkids went all the way to bottom.

Blackwater falls is absolutely gorgeous. I was fortunate enough to time my visit after some good rain, so the falls were in full effect. While you're here don't miss Lindy point. It's only about 10 minutes or so away from the falls, and the view from the point is amazing! I love our state!

What an amazing experience! Beautiful waterfall with lots of observations for nature lovers. Don’t forget to check out Lindy Point (~2.5 miles drive from the waterfall). The last picture is from Lindy Point. Beautiful view from the top!

The falls are so pretty and we loved the wooden boardwalk down to the falls so that we could get close to them. It is an easy walk and the grounds are well maintained. The falls were so interesting because of the color of the water as it cascades over the rocks. Definitely a great stop on our road trip.

Yes you can bring your dog. We stayed in cabin and there's an extra fee for the dog. But you can hike and visit the park with your dog.
It's a beautiful place any time of year especially in fall and winter
Yes. They have 16 newer 4 bedroom cabins for rent. They also have 26 original cabins that are currently being upgraded with new windows, flooring and counter tops. They have already finished 9 of them. They are 1 - 4 bedroom cabins. All sit separated from each other by a little bit of woods. Very quaint and relaxing. Plenty of hiking trails nearby
Ive been there doing contact work for 3 months, they have weddings all the time. Just call Lois to reserve your spot.
Yes they do.
$25 with electricity. You must also purchase fire wood. Collecting wood in the park isn't allowed.
They have tent and rv camping plus cabin rental
The park has numerous plow vehicles, that are constantly clearing the roads. You shouldn't have any problems getting around in the park with a fwd vehicle.
