How are the roads to get to the mountain lodge. Do you need an AWD/4x4 vehicle or a regular FWD sedan can also get there? I'm planning to be there last week of December

The park has numerous plow vehicles, that are constantly clearing the roads. You shouldn't have any problems getting around in the park with a fwd vehicle.

Would recommend 4x4 although was there today saw plenty of FWD
