Anybody else ever been told by the cashier to bag your groceries? Not asked - told.

I always bring my own bags and I often help bag and I'll use a box if I didn't bring enough bags, but the cashier literally told me to bag my own groceries the last time I was there. I'm curious if anybody else has been told the same thing, to bag your own groceries.

No, usually ask " would you like a box?"
