I was in tonight for a couple small items and I forgot my wallet so I tried to use Apple Pay. But of course my debit card linked to it expired 6/30/22 and I haven’t updated my Apple wallet. I called my husband for my new expiration date so I can edit it on my phone and pay so I stepped aside while doing so. I came back to the register to ask that she void my items while I updated my info. But while I was on the phone the workers paid for my groceries! My mind is blown at the generosity of these two beautiful workers! One said she’s in training and I’ve seen the other there before and she’s always friendly. So unexpected and definitely going to remember their generosity when I come across a situation and I can pay it forward. Thank you to the two workers, I am so moved by your generosity. This is my neighborhood store so I look forward to seeing you both again!

Very often they only have one cashier so I usually spend more time waiting in line than actually shopping since I'm in there for only one or two items. The prices are either reasonable or obscene. Would not recommend.

I go here regularly for vegetarian and vegan food options. And have for several years now. Everything is pretty good with this store. The minus one star is because the prices are a little on the high side, comparing the same items here vs other stores. Hopefully this is because they actually pay their employees well, etc. Also I really dislike their promotion of pseudoscience and fad diet culture. But they have good sustainability practices and literally any animal welfare standards, so I take what I can get. They also stopped carrying several food items I liked and would buy regularly, but not sure what the exact issue is there. Giving out free reusable bags to everyone so frequently is also a little concerning, since they are made of plastic, and I don't think it's recycled plastic. Hopefully people actually reuse them and it helps, but it's not the most sustainable practice compared to people just (re)using the empty product stocking boxes provided.

This is a great old fashioned health food store with beautiful looking produce, a large freezer section, and a huge vitamin and supplement selection. Unfortunately, their prices are on the high side but not as bad as New Seasons prices. If you are into healthy living this is a must visit.

Yes/no/maybe. Haven't seen that recently but their selection always changes.
I think you would find stevia, but not Splenda. The have several natural sweeteners there

No idea. Probably
Yes, I have bought Brazil nuts here. They are in the refrigerated section at the back with the almonds, cashews, etc.
I always bring my own bags and I often help bag and I'll use a box if I didn't bring enough bags, but the cashier literally told me to bag my own groceries the last time I was there. I'm curious if anybody else has been told the same thing, to bag your own groceries.
