We took the metro from reagan and had no problem, going back to airport we had to take uber because of early flight out, and metro doesnt open till (5am ?)
We do not have a hotel shuttle but are only a 5 minute walk from the Courthouse Metro rail stop and as mentioned below public transportation is readily available. Thank you.

No Cheri, but you can use the metro from Reagan, it leaves you around 2 blocks away from the Hotel.
