When we arrived i thought the room was good enough. And that's what it was. Good enough. Clean enough. But nothing above average. We asked front desk about metro and they blew us off and said to drive. Rooms were freezing and not sound proof. A motorcycle club arrived. They were friendly but there to party. We heard everything. No sleep and my son learned some new words. All the staff seemed disgruntled. Witnessed a waitress get reprimanded since she was the only one working and the bike club and other guests showed up for breakfast at the same time and someone complained about the wait. Not her fault. It was a staffing issue. Coffee wasn't drinkable. Breakfast was good but very limited menu. Kid's breakfast was TINY. At 7:30 the day of check out housekeeping knocked on our door asking when we were leaving. My son was still sleeping. We said at 11. Which is checkout time. As my husband started bringing bags to the car at 9:30 they came in. My son and I were still in there. Nothing like feeling rushed. Waited a long time at check out. While waiting a woman collapsed. She was unconscious and bleeding. Guests ran over. We worked together to call 911 and get info from her once she was conscious. Front desk staff arrived and asked if we were checking out. I told her about the emergency. She said we had it handled and continued checking us out. Another guest demanded they call her room to get her family. She tried once and said they didn't answer. Couldn't have looked more bored.

The Lobby was very neat. The room was very clean, neat, bathroom was stocked very well. My only drawback is I'm a guy that's 6ft 7in and for me the shower head was as tall as the middle of my upper arm. Other than that I loved it.

Red speaker in room kept going off the day we were leaving. Charged full price for my 11 year old to eat breakfast. Oh and military discount is only for 1 night. To receive it for more than one night you have to check out each day. Also have to pay for parking at the hotel every day. Location of the hotel pretty good.

I stayed here for two nights. Check in was pleasant and the property honored my Spire Elite status by leaving a note and goodies inside the room and allowing me to checkout late. The location is great being right in the heart of Ballston. The room and parking rates are less than nearby hotels. Although the service was good, I'm only giving it four stars because the bed wasn't particularly comfortable and the walls seemed thinned enough to hear into the next room and the housekeeping in the hallway was disturbing because of this.

No. The Ballston mall was close and is now closed and will be reopened as something different.
