Me and the family just recently moved here to Crystal River and we have on found one beach that white sand and that is Hunter Springs. It very small but a great place for seeing the manatees. The real beach is an hour and a half away in Clearwater Fl.
Hunter Springs is a fresh water, white sandy beach. It's small, but very nice. There is also Fort Island Beach, ocean water, gulf side, bigger than Hunter Springs. Also quite nice, no waves, with bathrooms and showers to rinse off. Also has food truck there frequently.
Are there dolphins at Hunter Springs?
Yes
You must head east along west coast is about an hour drive there are plenty choices Sorry cant be more specific dont know how they were affected by storms
