Yes you can, however we do recommend going with a guide your first time as it is easy to get lost or miss much of what is off the beaten path.

Yes you just have to pay for the parking and you can use the ramp. $5 all day!

yes! Parking is as in the other comment and also you can rent canoes or kayaks or paddle boards for the day as long as you're planning on being back by 6 is also a cool little bar down the street that you can eat and drink and rent a cabin and rent canoes from and launch from there as well

Yes it is open to the public. There is a fee to use the boat ramp. I think it's $5.00. Worth it!
