Visited a couple weekends ago and although we arrived late in the morning, we were lucky enough to get a parking spot and snag some last minute paddle board rentals. Friendly staff, there was one gentleman working who had a cracked rib yet was super nice, helpful and speedy getting our rentals ready and in the water for us. We had a great time on the river!

What an amazing place. Liz and her team are on top of it. Get there early if you want a spot to park especially on the weekend. Plenty of affordably priced kayak and boat rentals. They also have a nice tackle selection for the fish relative to the area. Enjoy your time while you're there, I know my Wife and I do

This was our first time staying here and really enjoyed it! It was hidden behind some neighborhood streets and in a very quaint little area. Pretty much all of the sites here looked shaded, we liked our spot and right near the bathrooms and laundry area. The bathrooms were hands down some of the cleanest I’ve seen so that was a plus. You can take a short walk down to the office check in and rent kayaks, we did that and enjoyed our ride in the water. I’d definitely stay here again!

Came to the area for the Florida Springs Council Summit this weekend. The campground was clean and quiet! Bathhouse was clean and plenty of hot water for a shower after swimming. Drinking and potable water available near your campsite for cleaning and drinking. There were a lot of raccoons at night but storing your food and disposing of trash correctly can help with that. There's a boat ramp with easy access to the Chaz River and a short trip right to 7 Sisters plus a beautiful paddle to the gulf or other creeks and spring fed tributaries. The motor boats and jet skis on the water during the warmer months can be a tad disrespectful to paddlers so keep right when you hear them coming your way! The only thing that wasn't great was having to pay to park at the boat ramp withing the grounds after paying for lodging or camping. It's not expensive, $5 for the day, but I'd suggest drop off your stuff and return to the site you rent rather than pay. Other than that it was great 👍 definitely will come here again when in the area.

The area itself is a nice size, but there's very little scrub between the sites so there was still a lot of eye contact. There's space, but not pot smoking space.
