Just wear a pair of water shoes and solve the problems

This a natural environment not a theme park. The purpose is for people to learn to appreciate nature in her many forms.

Don't walk on the rocks, swim over them! You can also wear water shoes or enter where there are no rocks. Yes, there are areas without rocks, but they shift. Its a barrier island subject to nature, you can't just take the rocks out.

Crazy how theres rocks in nature who put those there ...maybe try the pool next time

Clay Kenney | Jul 21, 2019

FYI, there are paths that have been made through the rocks to be able to get it to deeper water without walking over the rocks

Go to clearwater beach if u want a rock free environment. Plenty of room there too. Both r great beaches.

I almost stepped on one of those rocks also but luckily I seen I was about to step right on that rock, I moved my foot out of the way just in time. Idk why nature has to try to hurt us, I think we should try to remove all those rocks nature has put there to ruin our feet right in the city dump. Who do I have to talk to to get these pesky rocks removed? Surely I can't move them all

It depends where you enter the beach. Some spots are full of rocks, some are only sand. Parts of the beach by the first concession area are usually pretty rocky. As you work further down you'll see that it is more sandy - although you'll find an occasional rock. After a big storm more rocks seem to wash up. If you come across a rocky area, just keep walking and don't settle in until you've found a nice sandy section of water. It's easiest on clear days when you can spot the rocks from shore. If it's overcast or the water is rough, it makes it hard to see the rocks from shore - and you'll have some to try a few spots to see what is best.
