This place has a terrible management Everything was a lie! Tell you all this nice things you wanna hear when you sign a long term lease then Boom none of those are real! We moved in here because of a beautiful view and a heated pool! Property manager Janet Tinga made the maintenance person shuts it off! And if you needed something fix in your unit You might as well do it yourself!

Clean, comfortable, and super close to Honeymoon Island beach.

Lacks a lot in housekeeping. We didn't either bother staying in the living room. Bathroom was NOT OK by any means. Great views and close to st. Petersburg, Clearwater beach, honeymoon island and caladesi island. Way better few years ago not sure we'll be back.

Great Location - Needs Some Updating and Improvement. It had been three years since our last visit to Coconut Villas of Dunedin. A place we had stayed several times from their inception when the last owners paid attention to ALL details and were always onsite to help (even invited us to the chamber breakfast meeting). I was concerned to hear TRS had purchased the Coconut Villas and read through several reviews that were "mostly" positive. My expectations were "hope for the best, plan for the ok". My trip did not get off to a good start. Prior to my flight I called the main office to get the access code for the key. When I asked if the building was on the far corner or nearer to the main road I was greeted by..."uff...I guess I would have to look... ufff... at my map... uff...". The lady sounded like I, as a paying customer was a major bother. I had also emailed about which building and our preference and was totally ignored. Advice... don´t tell the "PAYING" customer how it bothers you to extend a little effort to help them... answer the phone with a smile or get a new job!". That being said... We arrived and the apartment was nicely decorated - likely other than the new flastscreen TVs the same from the previous owners. The apartment was clean... The positives: Standard was good, views great, some toilet supplies. Updated TV and cable selections. The negatives: 4 plates, a mix variety of glassware and plastic cups from the previous tenants, no surving trays (hum... 4 people, 4 plates what do we serve food on?) - limited towels (one per). Missing several lightbulbs (out) and to boot when sleeping at night the A/C decided to leak. It was on 72f, no doors open and it was leaking and leaking and leaking. We turned it off for two nights, drained the water etc... Thanks! I contacted the main office and then emailed them 2xs and was ignored. Again a service issue here.... The pool area was nice but had not been cleaned or maintained even ONCE in our 8 days. I did it three times. The old owners were ALWAYS there. The larger pool on Woodette was in the same condition... needed cleaning. The gas grills were basically out of propane so we shared a grill with a nice neighbor. In the end... I like the place and area too much to give up on it... I just hope that they start paying attention to their customers and the maintenance. Have the cleaning lady list the issues and report back to the office so they can be fixed. There are far too many places available for TRS to blow off all of their customers and offer a less than enjoyable standard that is falling. Three years ago, 5 years ago... It would have gotten 5 stars now...3 (and it hurts me to say this...). Room Tip: Just hope for the best - Best views are on St.Joseph´s Dr., Best pool and outdoor area on Woodette D...
