My father passed away, they are holding his mail. Do I need to have the death certificate to get his mail and forward his mail to my address?

Rural carrier out of the Johsntown office. All you will need to do is present a death certificate and it will help, if you are the executrix of the estate, if you bring documentation that states that. They can review and help you process the C.O.A. at that time as well. It would help to speak to which ever delivery supervisor is on dutyat the time. Good luck!
