I'm trying to review each Post Office I go to as I think sometimes they get a bad rap. I know it's mostly deserved but it's important for the accuracy of their overall rating that they get positive reviews too. Used this location today to send a couple parcels I'd sold on ebay. Line was being actively managed, IE: I'd completed something wrong so was asked to step aside whilst she served the next person then when I'd corrected it I was allowed strait to the front again. This is great line management!! Reason for 4 stars is I did overhear a customer at the next window complaining that her outbound mail wasn't getting delivered when she used the mailbox out front and another customer saying she wasn't getting her inbound mail. So I guess there's something to work on. I live downtown so don't rely on this Post Office's facilities often but was out this way and would recommend for any simple transactions.

The worst post office of anyplace I have ever lived. Mail is frequently misdelivered to neighbors or just disappears. I have found my mail lying in the ditch next to the mailbox. A neighbor once brought me a misdelivered package that had been torn to pieces. He said the carrier came up his drive and simply tossed it out of the window. The dogs (they bark but are friendly) got to it before he could. I take outgoing mail directly to the post office (preferably one other than Lichfield Blvd) because I don't trust the carrier to pick it up. Outgoing first class mail has simply vanished or has taken weeks to arrive, even when dropped at the Lichfield Blvd post office. Management is utterly useless. If you call to complain they just deny that there are any problems and call you a liar. Someone from USPS headquarters needs to go in and clean this place up from top to bottom.
