Does anyone know if you have to pay to get in and to park if you are renting a Yurt? Also, is there a lake in the park?

I know that entry to VA State Parks is included for camping and cabins. I'm sure that applies to yurts as well. There is no lake but one side of the Park is along the James River - probably not useful for swimming but fishing is fine.

If you are renting a yurt it takes care of the parking and entry fee.

No the parking fee is covered in the Yurt fee - up to two cars. No there is a river (James River) at Powhatan.

I believe that it is 5 dollar to enter no lake on river thank you can rent canoes not sure about renting yurts
