Is it true that you can no longer get in the state park unless you have a two day reservation on the island?

You can pay for a day pass in the State Park.

No the state park is open to everyone whenever you just have to pay to get in yhe park

I had a day pass last week, so no.

I was there in October and you could purchase a day pass to get in. The best shells are at the end of the tip when the tide is out :)

We purchased a day pass when we were there about a month ago.
