Hello Clarence, While admission to your Cacapon Resort State Park is free of charge, the state of WV does require fishing licenses. If you require one, even a day pass, please see our Front Desk 24/7 in-person as we are happy to help.

No there aren't, but I do believe they have a hot tub in the spa area.

Cabin 11 only has 1 queen bed, kitchen and a bath. Cabin 6, 8 , 10 have a loft good for 3 people. Cabin 4 has a loft on both sides. Singles and then a queen bed and double bed downstairs 6 person

There is 2 lakes and a spread of tailwaters that flow into both, if you look at google maps and switch to terrain view, you can see the rivers, creeks, and the lakes themselves.

If you stay at the lodge or at a cabin in the park, access to the lake is free, otherwise there is a fee/ person. I am afraid the lake closes for swimming on Labor Day, but is open fir fishing and little boats/ kayaks

If you’re staying in a cabin or at the lodge, admission is free for the beach. Other wise, $5 an adult and $4 a child. 4 yrs and younger is free. I’m an employee there :)

Yes, I agree with the previous two responses. Dogs are allowed in some cabins. However good luck in getting one. The waiting list for cabin reservations is years long.

As stated, no tent camping. However, we enjoyed the cabin and loved the resort.
